Description mathew 2014-09-11 19:33:22 UTC
Date stamps in chat UI have the wrong format -- they don't match any format configured in KDE System Settings > Locale.

Timestamps seem to be correct, oddly enough.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Configure date format to be anything other than mm/dd/yyyy.
2. Start a chat.
3. Look at the date stamps.

We take it from the Adium Theme.
We can't use KFormat /and/ keep Adium theme support all at once ...

I'm not quite sure what the best solution is at this point.
Comment 2 mathew 2014-09-11 23:36:14 UTC
That's curious, because I also have a Mac, and Adium on the Mac seems to use my configured (non-standard) date format. I wonder how it manages it?
Comment 3 Martin Klapetek 2014-09-13 09:12:35 UTC
I think it would make sense to overwrite the adium theme date with the system setting. If you set custom date, then you'd expect this to be used everywhere around (in KDE apps anyway). And we're a KDE app ;)
