Platform: Kubuntu PPA/now

When trying to open a PDF, Calligra Flow produces the following error:

"Could not open
/path/to/offending.pdf.
Reason: Could not create the output document"

This happens with any PDF I tried, also PDFs created by Calligra Flow itself.

Steps to reproduce:
1. In Calligra Flow: Ctrl+O
   (Open dialog filter shows "All supported formats" by default which includes PDF)
2. select a PDF document, press "Open"

Expected result:
 PDF document should open

Actual result:
 The above error

Clicking the error away returns Calligra Flow to normal operation.

Dear Bug Submitter,

This bug has been stagnant for a long time. Could you help us out and re-test if the bug is valid in the latest version? I am setting the status to NEEDSINFO pending your response, please change the Status back to REPORTED when you respond.
