Description Paul 2014-08-21 08:02:21 UTC
The preposition 'My' should dropped from the wording used in digikam's user interface.

Rather than, for example, 'My Albums', 'My Tags', etc. It would be more professional to use simply 'Albums', 'Tags', etc.

Personally I find the use of the preposition 'My' in this context to have rather childish connotations; apart from which the referenced item may not actually be mine :)

I waiting feedback from people here...

Git commit aaaadcd4683183489de9d83ab517503eacf90380 by Gilles Caulier.
Committed on 21/08/2014 at 13:42.
Pushed by cgilles into branch 'master'.

As large vote from Google+, remove "My " preposition from "My Albums", "My Tags", "My Searches", etc...
Code review and polish coding style.
Constify pointers.

Thanks to all who supported this, and especially to Gilles for implementing the change.
Comment 10 Mohamed 2014-08-21 14:45:51 UTC
Yes, I prefer removing it too
Comment 11 Kjetil Kilhavn 2014-08-22 06:34:37 UTC
Good idea. To separate my albums from shared albums etc it is sufficient (and better) to label everything that is not mine.
