Description Christoph Bodner 2014-08-13 21:01:24 UTC
The configuration file 'scanfile.dvb' should contain under [dvb-c/at-Innsbruck] only the following one line:

C 410000000 6900000 NONE QAM256

All other parameters are obviously invalid and non-functioning according to the cable provider after 12-AUG-2014.

Reference: http://tirol.upc.at/tv/digitalezukunft/

It would also be a good idea to inform the package maintainers responsible for the file '/usr/share/dvb/dvb-c/at-Innsbruck' which is obviously not accessed by kaffeine at runtime -- but maybe at development time.

Anyway, using the above mentioned parameters I was able to run a channel scan successfully within kaffeine and everything works fine again.

Reproducible: Always

Use this http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Dvbv5-scan to scan your channels and then send the results to linux-media@vger.kernel.org

Let me know when this is done and Kaffeine source will be updated.

As configuration files for Digital TV are stored at dtv-scan-tables git tree, the right solution is to send a patch with the channel scans to linux-media@vger.kernel.org.

As this bug is not directly related to Kaffeine, I'm closing it.
