Hello,

the same problem like in Bug ID 182883 (not resolved) and ID 300193 (resolved, but doesnt work here). 

Using Ubuntu 14.04.

It worked with the upgrade from Ubuntu 13.1 to 14.04, but don't works with new installation of 14.04. 

I set the colours to events: the colours are saved and combined with the events. 
After closing KOrganizer within the same session (without restart): colours of the events are all set to default. After restarting the system - without closing KOrganizer -: colours of the events set do default, too.
But: the new created colours are saved at "choosing colours" and adding to the  user-defined colours.
