Screenshot if a couple of windows with the Breeze windeco

When using the breeze windeco, then the tittle bar is actually a number of pixels bigger than the actual window.

See attached screenshot

which kind of breeze decoration is that? The new one currently being developed or the Aurorae theme?
Comment 2 Raymond Wooninck 2014-08-12 08:38:12 UTC
Hi Martin,

It is the deco coming from the repository
https://projects.kde.org/projects/kde/workspace/breeze

I hope this helps.
Comment 3 Martin Flöser 2014-08-12 08:40:15 UTC
no it doesn't as the new deco is also developed in that repo, but in a different branch.
Comment 4 Thomas Lübking 2014-08-12 08:40:37 UTC
at least the right border (inc. shadows) isn't rendered at all
looks familiar (bug #323065)

-> please attach the output output of
      qdbus org.kde.KWin /KWin supportInformation
Comment 5 Martin Flöser 2014-08-12 08:40:52 UTC
and the repo has two variants of Aurorae decos
Comment 6 Raymond Wooninck 2014-08-12 08:45:54 UTC
From the breeze repo, the master branch is used.

I have also attached the requested KWin support information

Thomas is indeed correct that the actual issue is that the right border is not drawn at all. Strangely enough this only happens with the Breeze windeco. Switching back to the oxygen windeco, the right border is drawn again. Also with the available Plastik windeco, the right border is drawn correctly
Comment 9 Martin Flöser 2014-08-12 09:02:39 UTC
Is that also happening in the stable branch (5.0.x)? There was a change in the rendering. If that is only in master, I'm tempted to ignore it as the code will change anyway till 5.1
Comment 10 Thomas Lübking 2014-08-12 09:04:52 UTC
aurorae theme.
is only the right border affected?
in case, i assume either svg or cache is broken.
Comment 11 Raymond Wooninck 2014-08-12 09:33:44 UTC
It is indeed only the right border that is affected. I removed the plasma*kcache files in ~/.cache, but this had no effect. So it could be the svg file in the repository.

I switched back to the official 5.0 Kwin package and there the right border works fine.

I have no problems with waiting for the new decoration2 library :)
Comment 12 Martin Flöser 2014-08-12 09:39:00 UTC
ok, let's make it a wontfix and kick me in the a** if we release 5.1 with this bug and without kdecoration2 ;-)
Comment 13 Raymond Wooninck 2014-08-12 09:39:57 UTC
Agreed :)
