Description michael 2014-08-05 16:53:58 UTC
I use xclip to save directory/filename to clipboard before I start ksnapshot.

When pasting the clipboard contents into the filename section in "save to" dialog, (the blue hilighted area 'snapshot'.png)

an extra space is added/inserted after the pasted data and the '.ext'

Example :

'./directory/filename .png' <(The space causes the save to fail).

Other uses of the same process with other applications works as expected
clipboard pastes the content with out the extra space. Pasting directly to the command line shows no space. So I believe the problem is with ksnapshot

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years and I will be closing this bug. Spectacle is the replacement for ksnapshot now. Please test again and file a new bug for Spectacle if you still have issues. Thank you!
