It could be great to be able to add a colour to a custom palette, anytime. if I see it I can bookmark it. Maybe using a keyboard shortcut? For now it is painful to create a custom palette not just at the beginning of a project but while working on it, anytime. Let me know what you think.

What was the original problem? That you couldn't create a palette after you started a project? If so, then this problem is solved now. It you meant something else, please elaborate - do you mean that creating a new palette is tedious (in the current version, 4.4.1)?
