If a plasmoid is opened, it will show up in the alt tab switcher. By default, plasmashell should be set to ignore switcher and skip pager.

Can't reproduce here. Even with pinning the calendar on the digital clock; the rest close when I press alt+tab.

Could you give accurate steps on you made this happen?

Steps to reproduce
1. Open calendar on digital clock
2. Pin the calendar so it stays open when losing focus
3. Alt tab
Plasma is shown in the switcher with the calendar shown.

I can confirm this, with Qt 5.3 from yesterday and kf5 from today.

More, now tooltips are also appearing in Alt+Tab switcher.. hover over something. Start Alt+Tab quickly.

A work around for this is to make a window rule for plasmashell and have it skip the switcher and pager. Could something like this just be made default?

Can confirm this bug for panel's widgets, app menus - e.g. click on 'Digital Clock' panel widget and press Alt+Tab - very often you will see empty 'Plasma' window in 'Task Switcher'. Tooltips aren't appearing in 'Task Switcher'

On X11, the popup of systray applets only appears in the task switcher when pinned.

On Wayland, the popup appears in the task switcher regardless it is pinned or not. See bug 419239.
