Created attachment 88040 [details] Kleopatra verify signature screenshot When verifying the validity and integrity of a file using its GPG signature, Kleopatra shows a green confirmation message if the signature and certificate match the file. In this green box, there is an option to expand the green box when clicking on "Show details" (in the screenshot: "Details anzeigen" due to german version) to show more details, e.g. signing date and the key that has been used to sign the file. As the signing date and the key that was used to sign the file are very important and it is uncomfortable to have to click on "More details" every time you need to check the signing date and/or signing key, it should be expanded by default/there should be a possibility to change this behaviour in the settings of Kleopatra.
Created attachment 105075 [details] Screenshot of current dialog This is how it currently looks like, no more show details and the errors are also much improved (e.g. you are asked to search / import a certificate if the errors is missing key)
Fixed with linked commit. Won't make it into 17.04 anymore though because it involved too many string changes for that.
