Original unfiltered list of articles

I have feed from 'The Daily WTF' that has several articles with titles beginning with "Error'd". But when searching for this, no results are displayed.

See attached screenshots. The same problem when searching for "it's".

Results:
1. Search for [Error'd] (without the square brackets, of course: no results
2. Search for [Error]: correct output
3. Search for [it's]: Several results, but none having "it's" in the title
4. Search for [""] (two double quote characters): All posts with "Error'd" in the title, among others

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of akregator (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

This bug exists with Akregator Version 5.3.0 (QtWebEngine).
I can't be sure about the behaviour when searching for "" for this version. Titles with words with single quotes (Error'd, What's etc.) are not listed when searching for that word.

It's very easy to reproduce. Just add the Daily WTF's feed and you can see for yourself:
http://syndication.thedailywtf.com/TheDailyWtf

I have changed the version of the application to 5.3.0 for the report.

Fedora 24
KDE Frameworks 5.26.0
Qt 5.6.1 (built against 5.6.1)

ok
Comment 7 Syam 2017-07-05 13:12:27 UTC
Seems to work fine with Akregator 5.4.3, KDE Frameworks 5.34.0,
Qt 5.7.1, Fedora 25.

Searching for single-quote and words with single-quote (what's, customer's etc.) seem to work fine. Searching for double-quotes has some incomprehensible behaviour though.
