Description Franz Schrober 2014-07-26 07:36:40 UTC
I cannot click anymore on links of invitation in mails when they are encrypted using GnuPG (SMIME). I am currently in Debian Sid if it helps.

The kmail program now prints things like

kontact(3003) KMail::Util::handleClickedURL: Can't handle URL: KUrl("x-kmail:/bodypart/0/1.2/accept")

when I press on one of the links like "Accept"	"Accept cond."	"Counter proposal"	"Decline"	"Delegate"	"Forward"	"Check my calendar"

"I cannot click anymore"

Was there a version where this works?
Comment 2 Franz Schrober 2014-12-13 08:36:47 UTC
Anymore was referring to "unencrypted mails with vcard invitations".

And I think it worked with the non-akonadi kmail - but I am not sure about this.

I have the same behavior on version 5.3.0. If the meeting invitation has been encrypted, KMail simply doesn't react, but with a slightly different error in the log:

log_kmail: Can't handle URL: QUrl("x-kmail:/bodypart/7/2/accept")

That is probably related to the switch to QtWebEngine, but it looks like it hits the same problem.

nope it's not related to switch to QtWebEngine.
But I need to investigate when I will able to create an encrypted invitation

Do you need me to provide anything else? I have been able to reproduce it on two different systems so far, both fresh installations.
Comment 6 Laurent Montel 2016-09-04 05:27:16 UTC
Perhaps the method to encrypt it :)
Comment 7 XY 2016-09-04 10:53:45 UTC
Yes, the inbound email messages get encrypted by a S/MIME milter on the server (without signing it, obviously) against a stored public key.
