Application: kwin (4.11.11) KDE Platform Version: 4.13.3 Qt Version: 4.8.5 Operating System: Linux 3.11.10-17-desktop x86_64 Distribution: "openSUSE 13.1 (Bottle) (x86_64)" -- Information about the crash: - What I was doing when the application crashed: nothing, just starting the PC. What I did notice: there are "hangs" also in the normal operation mode of KDE. Since these appeared it happens sometimes that kwin crashes. Can this be somehow related to baloo? (Just a doubt, because the hangs are especially when the respective session starts therefore the indexing runs and this is also when the kwin crash appears. 4,13,3 from opensuse repo, 64 bit on a lenovo X201 with external monitor support via vga and hdmi (with a dockingstation. -- Backtrace: Application: KWin (kwin), signal: Segmentation fault Using host libthread_db library "/lib64/libthread_db.so.1". At least this crash is not related to baloo. It's a threading issue when querying the activity list on startup. (It's complicated. Basically we were between a rock and a hard place that time. Things changed in KDE5, though) A "slow" system might however raise chances to run into this. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 325584 ***
