Description Philippe ROUBACH 2014-07-21 11:25:21 UTC
android 4.2.2 , kdeconnect 0.7.2 , Csimple
opensuse 13.1 x86_64 , kde 4.13.3 , kdeconnect 0.7.1

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csipsimple

in my smartphone i use Csimple (a sip phone) and wifi according to replace all my dect phones and to use the wired phone network .

if my smartphone receives a call from a smartphone
then
i have a kde notification with the phone number and the name of the contact

if my smartphone receives a call via sip
then
i have a kde notification with only the phone number

I don't think that is a bug, may be a limit of feature. I will change to wishlist to facilitate our organization. ok?

I will keep the status with unconfirmed, because I can't reproduce it yet. I don't have a SIP account in my cellphone.

Comment 3 Albert Vaca Cintora 2015-02-25 04:16:35 UTC
I guess that you are not using the standard Android dialer, am I right? The only implementation of the 'telephony' plugin that we have is based on the standard Android dialer, and holepfully it should work with others that behave in a similar way... Maybe this is not the case?
Comment 4 Philippe ROUBACH 2015-02-25 08:56:35 UTC
i lauch the stock app "téléphone" (not Csipsimple)
then
in the stock app "téléphone"
i choose "contacts" then i choose a person in the list then i click on the icon "phone"
then i have the choice between using gsm or sip network .

so you see till the last step i don't use any Csipsimple gui .

same thing for a number :
i lauch the stock app "téléphone"
then
in the stock app "téléphone"
i choose "clavier"" then i type a number then i click on the icon "phone"
then i have the choice between using gsm or sip network .

if i use android sip feature instead of csipsimple then things are same .
Comment 5 Philippe ROUBACH 2015-02-25 09:00:37 UTC
there is a confusion ; i change the title of the report

this bug report is about incoming call .

so don't aware of my comment #4 which is about outgoing call
Comment 6 Philippe ROUBACH 2015-02-25 09:03:43 UTC
to be accurate of the bug :

via sip (wifi) and for an incoming call in the kde notification
- the number is displayed
- the name of the person is not displayed

Comment 13 Aleix Pol 2018-01-17 11:54:21 UTC
Let's wait for someone who does then.
But let's remember that we only support such integration in applications that implement Android standard practices.
