When searching through the contacts:
The query is in the other side of the screen as the "clear query" button due to the search bar being so long. This makes for flickering eyes.

I don't know how it could be alleviated. Chrome solves this by selecting the query text/url when focused by click or shortcut.

Fixed in 4.14.5
