Description Kvaks 2014-07-19 22:32:40 UTC
When receiving or sending a file there is no information about the transfer in the chat window, only in the notification area of KDE. Personally I find this impractical and a little confusing for the following reasons:

Confusing when sending a file because it's not apparent that the transfer has been initiated unless the user remembers to open the notifications. The completion of a file transfer is a little more easier to spot as that is a pop up notification. Incoming files are easily missed if you didn't pay attention to notifications at the moment it was sent.

Impractical because you have to relate to two areas of the screen at the same time. Also there is no link in the chat window to the received (or sent, for that matter) file, so it's an added impracticality to have to open Dolphin, browse to the Downloads folder, chech the notifications to see what the filename is, and then open the file.

An option to auto-accept files (perhaps with some filter(s), say only smaller than X megabytes) would also be most welcome.

Thank you for an otherwise nice piece of software!
