Description Robert DuPont 2014-07-16 15:13:22 UTC
Hello,

My K3B crashes frequently when I try to rip a CD It does the same either with a ripped cd or a commercial cd.I use an ASUS eeePc running Ubuntu 12.04.- 32 bit My ripper/ burner is an ASUS SDRW-081d1s-W

This program used to be extremely reliable. Now , almost every time I use it, I have to reconfigure the program, or modify permisiions to coerce the program to reckonize the burner. This does always work, and the whole program crashes, when attempting to rip a cd.. It will duplicate the burner indicator on the left menu, and then crash the program.

Ubuntu /Canonical is apparently famous for not informing their software partners when they making updates to their systems, but this is ridicoulous

Today I tryied to rip a CD , and I had to re-boot the computer five times , and the program still does not work

Thank you for listening to my venting

RFD
