The problem seems existing in any themes, classic, userbar, or 3rd part themes I've installed. If I choose 'clear image' in the background option, I'm able to see the default blue wallpaper on the login screen. But when I wanna choose my own images, the login screen becomes completely white (only the background. the widgets are still usable and I can also log-in). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install and 64-bit version of kubuntu 14.04 2. Modify the background in settings -> LoginScreen(lightdm) 3. Logout Actual Results: You'll see a white screen but still usable Expected Results: My own image should be shown as background

We no longer use lightDM, having moved to SDDM several years ago. As such, this bug report is no longer applicable. Bugs reports for the new SDDM-based login screen should be filed to one of two places: 1. Visual/UI bugs with the login screen UI itself, or feature requests: plasmashell | Theme - Breeze 2. Bugs with the login/user switching process: https://github.com/sddm/sddm/issues
