- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I just logged in, using a domain user (WinNT style Samba3 PDC, no Active Directory, 
no Windows PDC or servers - but that probably doesn't matter, because the login works on the virtual terminals (tty[1-6], Ctrl+Alt+F1..F6)).

Logging into KDE using KDM seems to work so far, but then I get only an empty desktop (no panel nor any widgets) with a DrKonqi bug report window. (Which couldn't send the bug report, because "The version value '0.4' is not active. Please press Back and try again."...)

It seems that plasma-desktop and -widgets cannot connect to DBus?

The crash can be reproduced every time.
