Description Ovidiu-Florin BOGDAN 2014-07-08 05:35:03 UTC
While having a calendar from Google calendar source, and attempting to move one event at a later hour by dragging the event with the mouse lower in the agenda, it results in several dialogs saying: "Error while trying to delete calendar item. Error was: No items found". After which, the event is nowhere to be found.

Sometimes the event just disappears and no error is shown.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. set up to use a Google calendar
2. Create one event (mine is repetitive every working day of the week)
3. Move one event at a later hour in the day (apply only to current event in case of repetition)
Actual Results:
Event disappears from the agenda, and sometimes a few dialogs appear saying: "Error while trying to delete calendar item. Error was: No items found".

Expected Results:
Event to be moved.

I use Korganizer from inside Kontact.

When restarting Korganizer, the event reappears, sometimes duplicated, one of which is x hours earlier than the original start hour. X being the time I postponed the event.

This duplication is reflected in the Google calendar (web view).
No events are moved to the desired time.

Event can be moved if edited and changed the start time, but not by dragging with the mouse.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korganizer (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

I cannot replicate this in 5.1.3. I think it was fixed.
