right after startup of sddm the theme is not navigatable by means of pressing the tab key, one needs to first manually click on a focusable item to make it work. In combination with bug #337079 this makes it impossible to log in without using the mouse.

If it works fine after you select the password input, then it's just a dupe of bug #337079.

I spent quite a long time making the navigation keys work, but I only test in qmlscene which doesn't have that initial focus bug (which is more of an SDDM thing I need to fix)

After you've selected the password, is there anything that doesn't work?

Yeah probably a dupe then.

Once focus is on *any* interactable item (e.g. one could also click on the user icon) tab navigation works fine among items. It's only right after start that tab does absolutely nothing.
