Description Antonio Rojas 2014-07-03 19:28:05 UTC
The systray applet is d-bus activated via org.freedesktop.Telepathy.MissionControl5. But the d-bus interface is only started if the applet is present. This creates a circular dependency and the applet is never shown at startup.

Reproducible: Always

My thinking is the kded module should start it as that makes some requests on load.

One possible problem is that kded module only runs in kde4, so I guess I need to port it?

This works OK now that the whole stack is ported to KF5
