open editor, type a word, click sign/verify, select key, and en error appers:
"Impossibile firmare: frase segreta errata o chiave assente"
it translates roughly to: impossible to sign: secret phrase wrong or key absent


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open editor
2. type a word
3. click sign/verify
4. select key
Actual Results:  
error: "Impossibile firmare: frase segreta errata o chiave assente"

Expected Results:  
signing/verifing the text

Exact version is 2.11.2 and I'm in Gnome 3

I can reproduce this, but only for an expired key. Can you confirm this?

my key is not expired.
just created.

i creted a key pair 2 days ago with seahorse, and i get this problem in kgpg.
so i deleted the keys and recreated them with kgpg. 
same problem.

I can reproduce this bug on Archlinux with kgpg version 18.04.1. It seems that the issue has appeared with this version.

Can you please try with the most recent version from the Applicatons/18.04 branch? There was a bug in 18.04.1 that has already been fixed and we would like to rule out that this is just another manifestation of it.

On archlinux with kgpg version 18.04.2 this bug has just disappeared. Everything is back to normal. Thank you for your support!
