With the folder layout set, if you hover over an icon, the blue selection box will cover the "cashew" menu.  This interferes with the arrow button in the top left corner of the selection box.

I don't see many solutions except adding a border all the way aroundto pad the contents that would detach them from the toolbox anywhere it is

The biggest problem is that you can't press the buttons in the top left corner of the selection, the menu is selected instead. I think a border would solve both the aesthetic problem and this usability problem.
