I was using plasma-next for a while but everytime I was loging in there was this error message telling me that phonon-vlc failed to load because of faulty vlc. I have figured out that I have no vlc :) After installing it plasma-next is no longer working, after I log in it just crashes with message about kdeinit5 and that there are no logs to be gathered. Well, I have figured out to generate some stuff from dbg symbols, I hope this helps. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. Get annoyed by error saying that phonom backend failed to start because your vlc is faulty 2. Install vlc 3. Crash kdeinit5 and kwin everytime you login Actual Results: Crashy crash with kwin not decorating. Expected Results: It should show me new shiny plasma.

I have removed vlc and then it deps with autoremove. Now I have no error about phonon-backend failing ans session is working.
