Hidden Keyboard Layout will also hide the KDE Daemon. From then on I will have to click the small arrow up to reach the KDE Daemon icon in order to upgrade. When set the Keyboard Layout visibility back to "auto", then the KDE Daemon shows up again and can be clicked to upgrade like usual. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. right click the sytray > Systray Settings > Entries 2. set the Keyboard Layout to "hidden" 3. wait until a new package upgrade comes in. Actual Results: KDE Daemon with upgrade facility remains hidden behind the up arrow with less descriptive icon (you have to guess that it is in fact the pending upgrade). Expected Results: Only keyboard layout national flag should be hidden, not the KDE Daemon. In the settings there should be separate setting for KDE Daemon or it should be de-associated from the keyboard layout. There is a work around, but from a usability point of view this a bug that should be fixed: there is no way to hide the Keyboard layout without affecting other functionality.
