I have now re-import a part of the images in a new sqlite database. if
the database has little pictures are included (about 1K) is the screen
change in the preview quite quickly.
After importing other images (total 91K), the picture changes and
displaying the image again very slowly in the preview.
this problem occurs certainly with other users on windows also.

how can the image display can be substantially accelerated?

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create new sqlite Database
2.import may pictures
3.show album with preview
4. change to the next picture takes about 5 secondes

Hello There,

The change from one image to the next works normally.
However Digikam has problems Preview Image .
In the mode in Preview Image some images do not appear repeatedly .
Next time you start Digikam other images are not displayed in Preview
Image again .
After the show some pictures crashes digikam completely.
I hope there will soon be a digikam version where all images are
displayed in Preview Image .

the problem with the slow change from one image to another is fixed.
as all images in preview mode is now displayed in the version 4.11.0 .
