Description Ken Jarvis 2014-06-01 15:50:29 UTC
while in image editor and selecting resize from menu image loads in focus. When adjusting size by pixel or my percent - increasing or decreasing the image blurs out of focus. When saving the image in the new size it is blurred. This happens with all image types and sizes.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select image - any type
2. Select image editor for picture
3. Select Transform/resize from dropdown menu
4. adjust slider bar to increase or decrease size of picture.
5. Image will blur out of focus
Actual Results:
When saving image in new size it will be saved out of focus.

Expected Results:
Would expect image to be increased or decreased in size and maintain focus quality.

Kubuntu 14.0.0
Gateway quad core amd 64 processor
6 gigs ram

Enclosed are the screen shots plus an original file used for this screen
shots. I made them to attach to the bug report and didn't see a way to
attach.

I tried different pictures thinking it might be a corrupt picture
file. I tried different types for file formats - CR2, TIFF, PNG, JPG -
with the same results. I found this problem when I was making the images
for the splash screens I sent earlier. I had to resize in another program.

Let me know if there is anything else I can send you.

Best regards,
Ken Jarvis

As an FYI........... I used the original Raw image, as well as, other .jpg's and raw images to test. All with the same results. Just didn't want to send you a 17.2 meg file.

I'll be waiting for 4.1.0

Thank you for the prompt replies and fixes.
