Setting up an existing gmail account w/ the account wizzard currently doesn't work as the wizzard is stuck on the second step. Clicking "next" simply reloads the same step. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. click on tools->account wizzard 2. enter a valid gmail address + password and make sure "find provider settings on the internet" is ticked 3. click "next" so the proper settings for imap, smtp etc. appear; make sure imap is ticked 4. click "next" Actual Results: a longer text flashes up once in the window which is unreadable b/c it disappears almost immediately; then the same window is shown again Expected Results: the next step is shown
This bug is annoying b/c it makes the account assistant essentially useless as it is impossible to finish the setup.
Finally I could catch that longer text - it says that the account information is looked up in the mozilla database. Once successful, one is put back in the same step as before.
Apparently the bug is entirely different than anticipated. One has to click on "create account" to enter the next step and be able to hit the finish button. This is extremely confusing - the account exists and no new account should be created - the account should simply be set up in kmail. Also, why would one have to click 'create account' just before clicking 'finish' without any apparent action happening inbetween. Why not allow clicking on finish right away?
