Description Ian Balchin 2014-05-29 13:40:27 UTC
When I connect to the office server from home, over a slow radio link, it takes 30 seconds at least to download data into the form. There is no indication of progress, or that anything is happening short of looking at the lights on the network hub.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Connect to large data set
2. Over slow network link
3. watch and wait
Actual Results:
no visible indication that the download is occuring

Expected Results:
a progress bar would be good

This could be located on the bottom task bar next to the horizontal scroll bar (which i note remains there even if the entire form is visible), or at the bottom of the Project Navigator, or as a more centrally-located pop-up window. Even a rotating symbol would be good.

Good idea, useful for any object: tables, forms, reports, queries....
