Description Giuseppe Vinci 2014-05-17 19:22:33 UTC
If you move a received message from incoming list to a Local sub-folder, after a while it appears again in the incoming mail list. This can also happen several times for the same message.
Version KDE 4.13.1 - with baloo instead nepomuk (KDE-Current)

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Move a message, that you got today or yesterday, from the incoming list to a sub-directory of the Local folder
2. Wait a couple of minutes, then you will get the notification, you get a new message. But it is wrong: that is the message, you have moved before.
3. A check on the related sub-directory and on the incoming mail list, will confirms, now you are the same message twice.
Actual Results:
If you get a lot of messages, you cannot know anymore, which messages you have already "archived" in the local sub-folders and this create a lot of needles work.

Expected Results:
The moved message should not loaded again in the incoming mail list.

Giuseppe, thank you for your report. Do you still see this in KDEPIM 4.14 or later? I didn´t see it in KDEPIM 4.14 and I also didn´t see it in KDEPIM from Master (post 15.08). Thank you, Martin

Hello Martin,

No, also in this case I haven't seen it again after update to KDEPIM 4.14.
Should I check and eventual delete other bugs, which I reported about kmail?
But ... do I have as apps user the access right to delete them?

Have a nice day
Giuseppe

Sure, Giuseppe. Thats marvellous. Thank you. Please always test at least with latest KDEPIM 4.14 + latest Akonadi 1.13 (bug your distribution about including at least some of the newer commits in 1.13 branch in git, Debian maintainer has done it). Please also do not report new performance bugs until at least having tried KDEPIM/Akonadi 15.08 or even better wait for 15.12. Especially 15.12 will contain massive performance improvements in both Akonadi and KMail.

Do not try to delete bug reports stuff. Just set them as RESOLVED/WORKSFORME or something else that fits. If you can´t please make a comment and Cc me to bug report then I will do it. In case you also want to help to triage other bugs, join #kontact on Freenode and ask about it. So someone can give you Bugzilla karma to do it. I can also give you some guidance on how to do it. (There is no documentation yet, at least not for KDEPIM, I think.)

Closing report as resolved. Thank you, Martin
