I've created an address group in my KAddressBook. When I enter the contact group in the recipient list the group isn't expanded anymore (this was working in an previous version). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. create a contact group in KAddressBook 2. enter the name of the contact group in the recpient list Actual Results: get error message because the contact group list isn't expanded Expected Results: expand contact group list
I can confirm that on Kubuntu 14.04 with KDE 4.13 and same KDEPIM version distribution lists are non functional. Yet again. Workaround: use "select" in composer window, expand your dist-list in question, select all recepients and add/cc/bcc them. Then it works Add Comment

This affects me too. Kubuntu 14.04 (64-bit) KDE 4.13.1 KMail 4.13.1
Also, can confirm that the 'workaround' cited by Orion 2014-05-15 12:20:40 UTC works. But, autoexpansion of a Contact Group should 'just work' as it does in any other email program.
I fixed contact group indexing in baloo 4.13.2 I added new unittest etc. I hope that it will ok now.
Sorry I should have commented. For me on Kubuntu 14.04 with KDE 4.14.3 this now works and bug is resolved. Thanks a lot!
Kubuntu 14.10, KDE 4.14.1 not working (again/yet): "The email address you entered is not valid because it does not contain a '.'. You will not create valid messages if you do not change your address." Also I am not able to expand the group int the selection window, the only thing that works is adding the unexpanded group to the To:/Cc:/Bcc: fields which results in the above error message.
