Description Ferdinand Gruber 2014-05-14 16:40:41 UTC
After closing the Skanlite window I am not able to restart skanlite.
I found out, that the Skanlite process is still remaining in the process list.
I have to kill it manually. Then I can restart Skanlite.

This behaviour occurs, when in the scanner specific options the option "Wait until scan button is pressed" is checked.

If I terminate the scanning of multiple pages using the "Close" button, I cannot restart Skanlite.

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:
The Skanlite process should be terminated, when the Skanlite window is closed.
This should be ensured also in the mode "Wait for press the Scan button on the scanner"

This issue is still occurring. To avoid this behaviour I never tried the setting
"Wait until scan button is pressed" during the last 6 years.

Now I tested again this option and got the same result. After closing Skanlite I am not able to start again this program.

I get the error message: "No devices were found".

With the command "top" I can see, that the process "skanlite" is still remaing in the process list. After killing the "skanlite" process, this program can again be started.
