Description byg 2014-05-11 12:20:33 UTC
Numbers are displayed by Kmymoney without Thousand Separator on Microsoft Windows Seven (FR), in any screen of application or in reports, whatever is configured into Windows Control Panel / Region and Language / Formats

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Kmymoney on windows seven
2. view any reports screen , numbers are displayed without Thousand Separator
3. Modify Windows Control Panel / Region and Language / Formats with thousand separator , select "space" or "dot" as separator , then apply
4. Restart Windows
5. restart Kmymoney

Actual Results:
Numbers are still displayed without Thousand Separator

Expected Results:
Numbers should be displayed with Thousand Separator

According some post found , it seems that Kmymoney is getting this configuration for Thousand Separators from KDE global settings. But Kmymoney on Windows is running without KDE .

Then it is possible that MS Windows configuration about localisation and number format is not correctly handled by Kmymoney version for Windows

Those settings are changed from the KDE Language Settings, in the Settings menu.

Hi , just tested what you suggested :
Indeed this menu exists, sorry I didn't had a look at it, but you will notice that is not documented.

Anyway the solution is valid only for thousand separator "dot" , using separator "single space" is still not working, despite having changed format of Group Separator in tab "Numbers" and in tab "Money"

So I have selected group separator "dot", I am happy with this solution , up to you to decide what to do with this "space issue".

Thanks for your quick answer

Don't know about adding support for space as a separator for formatting money, does anybody find that useful?
