I'm using susestudio.com. It requires to send sql dump packed with bzip2 (not tar.bz2). Because I need to send just one file it seems logical to me. But when I opened Ark I didn't find bzip2 in supported formats. I think that it should be supported. I think it's logical to show it in context menu (Compress -> As bzip2 archive) when I select single file and show tar.bz2 when I select several files (> 1 files. Or may be for >= 1 files because someone would like to use usual tar.bz2). The same logic is true for gzip (and tar.gz) archives too. Reproducible: Always
