when i open a PDF file an i make an annotation with the highlighter, i close the PDF file and i open again the same PDF all the pages are blank. it happen to with the archive file of okular Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open a PDF file with Okular 2. make an annotation with a highlighter 3. close the PDF file 4. open again the same PDF file i am workin on Ubuntu-GNOME 14.04 LTS i386

This works fine for me. Can you attach the file that is causing this for you?
This problem was happened after i changed kubuntu 14.04 LTS to ubuntu gnome 14.04 LTS without format the document file. After i installed okular-debug the problem was partialy resolated but i still have the probleme with the archive document of okular, the damaged file is not solved with but i can read it with "evince".

i am sorry the file was so big so i was not able to attach it
send it to me by email, or host it somewhere or use pdfseparate to split it into a single page (and check if the error still happens)

Albert/adilgourinda: Could you retest with the document in question (it is not publicly available anymore) whether it still is a problem with a Qt5 based Okular? In general saving annotations works, so this is document specific (probably somewhere in Poppler?).
