Description Carioca 2014-05-04 06:54:42 UTC
When a apointment has a different time zone as you live in, summary shows the wrong day if the time is at another day.

Example:

Appointment is set to 4.5.2014 22:00 UTC - 4 and your local time is UTC. Then the correct date to show for you localy would be 5.5.2014 02:00. But summary shows 4.5.2014 02:00

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. set an appointment at next day, 23:00. Time Zone - 2 hours your local time (that means the appointment occure on the day AFTER tomorrow at 01:00 o’clock.).
2. check at Kontact’s summary
3. summary will show the wrong day
Actual Results:
Kontact summary shows the wrong day

Expected Results:
Kontact summary should show the right day

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kontact (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Comment 2 Denis Kurz 2017-01-07 22:07:02 UTC
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
