Internal Error Please send a full bug report at http://bugs.kde.org Unknown error condition in stat: No route to host When I use Dolphin, and access Network, then Samba Shares, then my Workgroup, my network computers (all 3) (Kubuntu 14.04, Windows 7, and Windows XP) and a Snap Server show in the listing. I cannot connect to the Windows 7 nor to my Windows XP machine. Both machines run the same AntiVirus Software (ESET Smart Security 7) and as far as I can tell, the firewall is set up the same in both computers, but unable to show content of either Windows machine, and I get this error from the XP machine: Unknown error condition in stat: No route to host Thank you very much for your assistance. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Dolphin 2. Access Network 3. Access Samba Shares 4. Access Workgroup 5. All 4 devices show... 3 computers, (1-Kubuntu 14.04, 1-Windows 7, 1-Windows XP, and 1-Snap Server 6. I can open and view the contents of the Snap Server but not the Windows computers. When attempting to access the Windows XP machine I get the Internal Error - Unknown error condition in stat: No route to host. When I attempt acces to the Windows 7 machine I get: Access denied to smb://gerald-laptop/. I am not sure if this is a problem with Windows or a conflict with Kubuntu 14.04. Actual Results: Each time I follow the above procedure, I get the same results when trying to view contents of Windows XP machine... this error: Internal Error Please send a full bug report at http://bugs.kde.org Unknown error condition in stat: No route to host And from the Windows 7 machine I get the error: Access denied to smb://gerald-laptop/. Expected Results: I would expect to be able to see the contents of the hard drive(s) on each of the network computers as the hard drives on the Windows XP machine are visible from the Windows 7 machine and the Windows 7 files are visible from the XP machine.
Thanks for the bug report! All the issues described here have been fixed in later versions. Everything works fine for me with KDE Frameworks 5.47.
