When "Drag window from all empty areas" is activated in Oxygen settings, trying to drag a color from GIMP's toolbox will not work, instead the window being moved. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open GIMP and create a new image 2. Try to drag the foreground or background color from left toolbox to the canvas Actual Results: GIMP's window is being moved Expected Results: We should be able to drag the colour this way: before it was possible with gtk2-oxygen and it's still possible with other GTK themes (tested with Greenbird) My KDE version: 4.12.4 oxygen-gtk2 version, according to my package manager: 1.4.5 GIMP version: 2.8.10
Likely a regression from me 'sanitizing' the window dragging code in latest release. Sorry about that. I'll investigate asap. Thanks for reporting.
Hi again, I can't reproduce here with same oxygen-gtk2 version (1.4.5) but older gimp version: 2.8.6 Can you/someone double-check / confirm ? In the meanwhile I'll try to update my gimp
... unfortunatly, still no success at reproducing with 2.8.10. Just to make sure: are we talking about dragging the colors shown in the screenshot below ? http://wstaw.org/m/2014/04/27/plasma-desktopGx1695.png (you can actually see the color being dragged) If yes, please also report the "gtk2" version you are using, as well as glib. (you can get that with "oxygen-gtk-demo --version", provided that oxygen-gtk-demo is installed on your system). Thanks in advance, Hugo
I tested with GIMP 2.8.6 and the issue is still reproduced on my system. Yes, that is the widget this bug reffers to. This is oxygen-gtk-demo output: gtk: 2.24.22 oxygen-gtk: 1.4.5 oxygen-gtk-demo: 1.4.5
@Hugo I can reproduce with GIMP-2.7 using GTK 2.24.10, but not with 2.6 and 2.4
Indeed, it appears after commit ec52847592889941b67fd7e2831ab7563e90e66b.
Here're relevant log messages from older version: http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=yCqSeKkj And here're from current version: http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=HDJBFNi0
I can confirm what Ruslan says, I compiled the code on revision 71c1cd4ee4a56ecd2fd287312ed9f98e53977805 (the one before ec528475) and the issue no longer appears.
