" everytime i open this music player, this message is displayed. then if i click ok the player will be opened. And if i try to add media this message is displayed.. i could not add any media.. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.opening amarok music player 2.Click on 'Playlist' --> 'Add Media' 3. Actual Results: 1.problem occurs. if you click OK in the error message, then music player will be displayed 2.the same error message is displayed Expected Results: 1.should open amarok player without displaying any error message 2. should add media to the playlists without displaying error message system info: elementary OS Release 0.2 (luna) 64-bit Kernel Linux 3.2.0-60-generic GNOME 3.4.2
Then you miss some essential packages you need to run Amarok under GNOME, please report this to your distribution, they need to check the package they provide...
Just checked the package, nothing wrong we can find. Please check that you have the package kde-workspace-bin installed. Did you remove any KDE packages after installing Amarok?
