I tend to have a number of email open at once ready for sending. If I use the keyboard ctl-return to send them, I find that copies are not always save in the Sent folder. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open & edit a few emails ready for sending. 2. Rapidly send them such that some get sent in parallel 3. Check Sent folder to see if copies have been made Actual Results: Some of these email have not been saved to the Sent folder Expected Results: All sent emails should be saved I am classing this as a major bug as no emails should be lost in such a manner. It looks like a locking/timing problem.
I'll add that this is probably going to be more reproducible n a slow system - I run a 1.8Ghz Atom system.
Hello bib, thank you for your report and sorry for taking this long to answer it. It is about a version of KMail which uses Nepomuk and is unmaintained. Thus closing. If you still see this issue please reopen the report. Please test at least against KDEPIM 4.14 and latest Akonadi 1.13. Thanks and greetings from KDE Randa Meetings, Martin
It's worse in the latest versions. Now it does not save ANY emails. root@eth7 ~L: rpm -qa | egrep -i "kdepim|akonadi" akonadi-runtime-1.13.0-7.1.x86_64 kdepim4-4.14.10-1.1.x86_64 akonadi-4.14.10-1.1.x86_64 python-kde4-akonadi-4.14.3-8.2.x86_64 kdepim4-runtime-4.14.10-1.1.x86_64 libakonadiprotocolinternals1-1.13.0-7.1.x86_64 libkdepimlibs4-4.14.10-1.1.x86_64 kdepimlibs4-4.14.10-1.1.x86_64 libakonadi4-4.14.10-1.1.x86_64 plasma-addons-akonadi-4.14.3-12.6.x86_64 libkdepim4-4.14.10-1.1.x86_64
