Description Doug Holland 2014-04-10 16:45:48 UTC
Muon Application Update Notifier shows its icon in the system tray, and claims that an update is available, even after I had verified that my system is up to date. I'm not sure if this is a KDE.org team bug or a Kubuntu team bug.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run the Muon Updater.
2. In its settings, make sure notifications are turned on (which should run the notifier applet, that shows up in the system tray
3. Use your apt tool of choice (muon, apt-get update, etc) to update your software. Make sure all packages are up to date.
4. Watch as the notifier still claims that updates are available.
Actual Results:
When I reproduced the steps, the notifier indicates that new packages are available.

Expected Results:
It should tell me my system is up to date, after I verified that it is indeed up to date.

Running Kubuntu Trusty 14.10 beta, and using Kubuntu's packages..
