The exit button in the corner closes it, but everything else is locked up - unresponsive. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start muon 2. Mark any package to install/remove/purge 3. Click Apply 4. Just ignore the authentication window for a while (e.g. 20-30 seconds) 5. Press Cancel. If you press cancel right away, it's not a problem - only if you wait.
Still happens in Ubuntu 14.04 (KDE 4.13.1, muon 2.2.0). I found that it also affects muon-updater in the same fashion, but in this case you can't even close it with the x in the corner. I found that if you kill the root-owned process qaptworker2, it unfreezes. That's why I'm setting the component to qaptworker. However I haven't looked at the code and don't know how it works, so for all I know it might be just in the way muon and muon-updater interact with qaptworker2.
