Description Pedro Rosado 2014-04-08 06:22:33 UTC
Just try a simple math function like COUNTIF, OR IF. You can select a cell or range but as soon you select anther cell to complete the formula the formerly selected range change into the newly selected cell. Making impossible to finish a formula without using the formula dialog box.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enter values into the appropriated cells.
2. Double click the cell you want the formula to be written.
3. Write formula like =COUNTIF(
4. Select the desired range. For example A1:A10
5. Select the cell for the criteria. For example B2, this cell has a value of 12

Actual Results:
Formula changes i into the last selected cell. Does not finish the formula since the range in no longer in the formula.

Expected Results:
To allow the criteria cell to be chosen into the equation.

Confirming, selecting a second block replaces the first one in the editor instead of starting a new one, even after entering a delimiter.
