When I change Layout in View section of Desktop settings and press Apply button, it closes the window and reflect the changes. Window should not get closed on pressing 'Apply button'.
Reproducible with 4.11.8.
I Still have this problem in KDE 4.13.1 and it is especially annoying considering due to this bug [1] I have to change back and forth between default desktop and folder view everytime I startup my computer. [1] https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=294795
