The two icons at the top-right of the applet do not have tooltips. Actually, up until now I have no idea what that green round arrow is doing - there doesn't seem to be any reaction to clicking it. I guess that it's re-scanning for wireless networks, but that's not appearant. For the wrench, at least after clicking it I know what's to be configured ;-) Reproducible: Always
I was trying to add tooltips, but unfortunately it was not possible due to overlapped mouse areas. It would be possible in Plasma Next.
I just tried to add tooltips in Plasma 5, but there is still problem with overlapped mouse areas. When I added a tooltip to a button then the button didn't react to mouse hover. Also having just a tooltip with a simple text describing what the button do looks unfortunately horrible in Plasma 5. At least the refresh button is now on a different place with an animation to show that something is going on. I'm not sure I can do anything about it now without breaking some behavior and making it ugly so you will have to wait until we found a proper solution.
