Me and my friend are experimenting a thing: he sends me a torrent in DHT only created with Bittorrent and I have to download it. Unfortunately, Bittorrent doesn't allow to specify DHT nodes in the created torrent, as can do KTorrent. So! I want to add his IP inside KTorrent in order to make the download possible Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: once the torrent is oppened in KTorrent and waits for peers: 1. right click on the torrent and select "advanced -> add peers" 2. a popup shows up whose name is "Dialog box"... 3. enter the IP adress and the port number 4. click on "Add" and nothing happens :( Actual Results: nothing happens, the dialog doesn't event close Expected Results: the dialog closes, and the peer is correctly added, so I can start my download :) I attach 2 images: http://image.bayimg.com/803963b7dabed4d9ff5ed0740b50ebbec886331d.jpg http://image.bayimg.com/61577c4830bcac91d24022f5fae4622fe599c427.jpg on the first, we see how to open the dialog (my KDE is in French...) on the second, we see the bad title of the dialog, and when I click on "add", nothing happens...
Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been stagnant for a long time. Could you help us out and re-test if the bug is valid in the latest version? I am setting the status to NEEDSINFO pending your response, please change the Status back to REPORTED when you respond. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone!
Hello, I just tried and this bug is still here. Tell me if you need more info. The thing is that when I click on the "Add" button of the dialog, nothing happens (the dialog doesn't quit, it looks like a not connected button).
Thanks for the update!
still reproducible with ktorrent 5.1.1 on Fedora
