intended.
I'ts possible to bring the dashboard anywhere in the z order, to be able to easily drag and drop stuff to and from the desktop
Comment 2 Bhushan Shah 2014-03-31 14:31:17 UTC
That was not there in Plasma 1 world? No?

Seems like being able to minimize the dashboard breaks the desktop wallpaper, I for one get a black background.

Steps to do that :
1) Switch to any application
2) Trigger dashboard
3) Minimize dashboard entry in taskbar
4) Switch to the desktop

To me it doesn't make sense to have this as a entry in the task bar to be honest.

I also can't close the dashboard if I trigger the expose effect from kwin and hit the 'X' on the window preview.

Git commit d2c7ee7aaeaa90d0e333fc95766fb36532e98ed4 by Marco Martin.
Committed on 03/06/2014 at 12:05.
Pushed by mart into branch 'master'.

don't show dashboard in task manager

since people find it too weird, hide dashboard from task manager
*but* it's going to stay under the panel, and windows are still
going to be capable to cover it
