Description Alan Prescott 2014-03-25 11:58:17 UTC
Add bookmarks form shows Position in decimal degrees whereas Edit bookmarks form shows Position in degrees, minutes, decimal seconds (in 3 separate fields).

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:
Use the same unit format throughout, preferably specified under settings.

Being able to switch between the formats on the fly would be really useful if transcribing data to/from other programs.

Hi Alan,

can you please create a wishlist bug for "Being able to switch between the formats on the fly would be really useful if transcribing data to/from other programs." because this is a separate issue. Thank you!

EditBookmarkDialog requires setMarbleWidget() to be called in order to apply the notation from the user's settings. However, a MarbleWidget is not available in BookmarkManagerDialog.

Thank you for the bug report.

As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists.

If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved.

Add and Edit do use the same format, i.e. separate fields for degrees, minutes and seconds.
It could still do with a choice of input formats though
