Description Kevin Cox 2014-03-25 02:03:17 UTC
Currently Appearence->Colors allows you you change every color individually but it does not provide a way to select among different presets such as many other options provide.

It would be convenient if a couple of presets (especially one for dark themes) were available to the user,

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Settings -> Configure KMail -> Appearance -> Colors
Actual Results:
No preset themes available.

Expected Results:
A list of a few preset color themes.

Sorry for the delay.

I did some investigation and found that the color scheme of the message viewer is controlled by the global KDE color scheme. However, it appears that the background is forced white, causing some problems with light-text themes.

So maybe this isn't the proposed solution isn't the proper fix, but it would be nice to have some way to use the background color from the selected theme, or to allow using a different theme for the message viewer.
